J Membership J
The Mogul Meister Ski Club is an volunteer organization that arranges ski trips for our members to resorts worldwide but we are much more: we also have a full slate of year round social and recreational activities.
Based
in White Plains, New York,
the club's membership draws mainly from the
tri-state area. The only requirements for
membership in the club are that: (1) you be
over 18 years of age and (2) have a love of
skiing and the comradery and friendship that
goes with it. Individuals younger than 18
can join with a family membership and must
be accompanied by a parent on club outings.
Don't worry about your ski skills. The club
welcomes skiers of all abilities. We have
members that never skied until they joined
the club and a few people that jump off
cliffs ( ON PURPOSE ) and everything in
between.; indeed, joining the club is an
excellent way to get serious about
your skiing.
The club advocates safe recreational
alpine skiing. The club encourages members
to improve their skiing technique through
education and practice and discourages
reckless skiing. The club also advocates for
prudent natural resource management and
continuous improvement of ski destinations.

The club has an active roster of social events all year round, including happy hours, clam bake, baseball and football games, softball, outdoor concerts and festivals. The club has a web site and newsletter where you can find out about club activities and ski trips. Members can submit articles on skiing and snowboarding to the board for publication on the web site and newsletter.
The annual club membership fee is $45. Membership entitles you to one vote on matters brought before the general membership and is required for participation in club outings lasting longer than three days. Non-members may go on weekend trips by paying a $25 non-member fee.
"What I have found best about the club is that everyone here likes to ski. Before I joined, I used to try to
convert people. What a drag – you have to wait for them, there is always the drama, hemming and hawing. You won’t find posers here – just people who like to ski."
Do you think you might be a Mogul
Meister? There is one way to find
out. Individuals interested in joining the
club are welcome to attend general meetings
which are held the first and third Tuesday
of every month, except during the summer
when they are held on the first Tuesday. The
club holds an Open House party on the first
Thursday in September (annual dues are due
September 1). The open house is an
opportunity for members to reconnect and
regroup after the withering heat of summer
and make plans for the upcoming season. You
can download a membership application
